Yes. Pull the bolts and the motor will slide forward by hand.

Well i took the electrical and the complete exhaust system out! While trying to undo the motor mounts the one of the bolts stripped. Now im afraid of taking out the motor mounts because i don't want anymore to strip. Can i take the piece where the bearing housing is connected to by heating the glue that lines the bottom and taking out the 4 bolts that hold it on instead? HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!

You are removing the top motor mount bolts only, right ? (4 of em-2 in the stator cover-2 in the rear engine brackets)

OK so the exhaust stinger is out of the way. You also probably removed the black plastic shaft cover. There are 4 bolts that go on each corner of the engine, that attach the engine to the mounts. These bolts have a 12mm head. On the rear they go through a bracket that is attached to the engine, on the front they go through the stator cover "legs" that stick out each side. The front bolts are kinda hard to reach with the big "u" pipe still in the boat. I use a long extension (2ft+) and a wiggle socket to get to the front bolts. Peek down over the front head and look down & to the sides w/ a flashlight and you will see them.
-Tip-almost all the later model boats I have worked on have a red marker-mark on the bolt heads/to the mount bracket.
