FZ/X rear tie-down cleats... Question!!!
**If this needs moved, feel free to do so.**
Ok guys. This has been a good while ago. But I distinctly remember somebody making a post or two about some updated part that Yamaha used on the rear tie-down cleats. Ive searched for a while now and cannot find the post/thread for the life of me. Now does anybody remember that?? The poster had noted he saw a difference in parts across 2 different FZ/FX skis. I think it was a different bracket that bolted inside the skis rear hull section to broaden the area where pressure was applied when the ski was tied down to the trailer. Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me. But if in fact there is a better part we can throw in there and its cheap. Then why not!

There was some discussion about it in Jerry's thread, but the larger backing plate on the 09's was for the SHO boarding step, not the tie down loops.
