After receiving 4 new Hot Rods cranks, I have yet to receive one that will work. I am absolutely done with them. http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=84866

Well we know of at least 1 case of bad cranks they sent out it there's one case then theres probably more and it didnt sound like an issue to them so I would go elsewhere.
No one said they were all bad but I wouldnt want to take the chance.

Hot rods used to be GREAT cranks, but from what I have been reading the past few months it sounds as if they are falling into a WSM category.. bummer

I guess I have to go through 6 more, to find the 1 in 10 that actualy works as advertised.

I can say this and I said it to them:

"I only expected a product that worked as advertised and was delivered in useable condition"

Instead I got a pruduct that does not work as stated, in a package designed for a 10 pound part not a 45 pound crankshaft.

    Crankworks "NOT"

Cmon Bill what are you complaining about. You think you deserve to get what you actually paid for?
    LOL

It is truly amazing what some companies think they can get away with. i would expect that with things as tight as they are folks would at least improve the quality and customer service part of the business. If those are great or at least good then we can excuse the occasional aww shit that happens to us all.

Someone needs to step up and start doing what they do for a fair price and good service. I know that i will pay more for something when i believe that it will be done correctly or the company will stand behind it and make it right.

My 2 cents. My crank took 2 or three times for them to get it right.

    Thanks Rich.
