    Question GSX + 4TEC

Has anybody tried stuffing a 4tec into a Seadoo GSX hull? Seems like you might get similar results like a GPR conversion.

that would be a very tight fit, if possible at all without major fiberglass mods

its also a smaller and lighter ski than a GPR. I would think that it would sit very low in the water...

there have been a few 4tec XPL'S. i know one of the members here was able to put a merc. v6 drag motor into a GSXL. i think it can be done but i would worry about the weight more than anything.

I loved my 96 GSX, just thought that would be a badass ski if it could be done.

I think it was discussed 2 years ago, depth and width of the motor was an issue. Too tight to install the exhaust and intake manifolds after the block was in without some MAJOR fiberglass work...

I had the thought of putting a GPR motor in a GSXL hull, that would be a decent sleeper...

Yea I figured someone had tried, if you can dream it, someone on here has probably tried it.
