I just got done installing my X steering on my RXT and love it. Great addition to the RXT or RXP. Good luck with the sale.

I am about to install an X steering system on my RXP. Since you just did the same I need to ask you how difficult it was. Any special tools needed? Any advice?

Order the Speedfreeks adapter plate (site is under construction). http://speedfreeksracing.com/mambo/i...d=49&Itemid=53
Remove old steering assembly.
Put the plate in place, trace the inside of the plate.
Remove the plate.
Cut the hull.
Install plate and X steering assembly.
I also had to swap over my DESS post because mine had 3 wires and the X has 4. Also my connectors had femail pins and the X had male so I swapped over all my wires (start/stop button, VTS, and buzzer)
You will also need the ball joint for the end of the steering cable (looks like the one on the end of the steering cable that attaches to the steering nozzle). Below are the parts. You can order them from the online store.
207063060 SCREW-HEX.CAP DIN.931A2 $1.42
277000775 BALL JOINT $17.49
234061600 WASHER-FLAT DIN.125A-A2 $0.27
232561200 NUT-STOP ELASTIC DIN.985 $3.20
