    PRO 785 in a sled?

Is there a Polaris sled chassi I can use with the FUJI 779cc (PRO 785) motor?

If there is more than one, which one would be the best?

Why go that route? Go big or stay home,do a 1200 MSX conversion into one. But the head will run you about 500-600.00.

    here is my delema...

I have a '99 pro785 & i want to find a cheep chassi or sled with a blown motor. so i can graft(make motor mounts) or ideally a direct bolt in. its too cold to take the pro out on the lake & i want something for this winter.

can anyone direct me to a chassi that will work for my aplication?

The triple pipes from the Pro 785 motor are not going to fit into a snow mobile chassis.

The CDI is not going to work properly, nor is the engine torque curve or cylinder porting appropriate for a sled.

If you can find a sled with a blown engine, then rebuilding or repairing that engine may be less work and cost than trying to transplant a watercraft engine.

There are lots of snow mobile guys on GH, and even more on forums such as slednutz.com

you might get away with PSI pipes made for a Fuji or XCR 800 triple pipes if you can find them. The XCR 800 triple is probably the closest thing made to a pro engine I'd still just buy a cheap sled with a running engine.
