    Freeflow exhaust hose- DIY?

My budget is going to be tight with work being slow, so after seeing pictures of the freeflow exhaust to replace the stock sound suppression, it looks like 4" silicone hose and costs 120. Has anyone made their own with success?

people have used a short piece of pvc and cut the stock rubber hose. personally i wouldnt do this due to the possiblity of melting and/or the hose slipping off because there is nothing for the pipe clams to stop against. you can go to an exhaust shop and get a piece of metal pipe and do the same thing. someone was making (riva or r&d) a metal tube with barbs on the end to have something to clamp against, which is what im currently using, someone on the forum was nice enough to give it to me for free. try putting a WTB on the classifieds, im sure someone has one sitting around that is willing to let it go for cheap

Where did you get the pipe, like Lowes or Home Depot?

I have been thinking about doing the same thing. You will probally have to go to an exhaust shop to get 4" exhaust pipe. I think this is what I am going to do. If you go the pvc route then home depot has that.

This topic has been beat to death, resurrected, and beat to death again. Can't you guys use the search button and do a little research first?

Edit - I started to post some links and decided it wasn't worth the time. I figure it's time you guys learn to use the search function yourself.
