    8300 Hose 7100 Lake

Finally got the bosses 04 RXP back to the shop. I had rebuilt the SC with McMaster Carr washers, 13/18 Solas with new ring, water box mod. Boss said it runs great but only gets 7100 rpms. Put it on the hose and I get 8300 and its up against the limiter.

Any suggestions? Had hoped there was a loose hose clamp but they don't leak.

    thanx in advance.

Mel, it's easy to rev the ski up against the limiter on the hose. The pump isn't under a load.

What was the final slip on the supercharger after you rebuilt it?

I don't see the updated knock sensor harness but I don't understand why that would suddenly be important. I havent had it hooked up to BUDS? (the dealer computer).

    Slip was 155 in lbs.

maybe a trip to the dealer.

    Jerry,

thanx for your help. I found a missing bolt at the throttle body. I suppose this could be leaking off my boost huh?

    You stock this? P/N 420440560

Mel, i can almost guarantee you that at some point in that 04 RXP's life it was taken to a dealer and connected to BUDS. If this happened then the 04 knock sensor update was flashed to the ECU. If the tech didn't also install the knock sensor update harness between the stock harness and knock sensor connector your RPM's are going to be limited to the low 7000's.

It's possible you are leaking off some boost but doubt you are leaking enough to cause that much RPM loss. My bet is you need the knock sensor piggy back harness

I have that bolt and all other OEM parts here in my OE online store

    Thank you!
