Rear air intake for more power
Anyone tried putting a hose, for testing, from the SC out the back seat just with a prefilter on to bring more power than running it all the way to the front.
I was thinking a shorter hose to the outside of the hull would bring more power. If it did I could drill a 4" hole next to the tow ring on the back and put a tube with a water resistant pre-filter.
Just wasn't sure if it was worth the gains.

I don't think it would be worth the risk of taking in water thru the rear air intake, pre-filter or not. When slowing down quickly in rough water, the transom is prone to getting swamped.

Maybe a tube that would go in between the grab bars and up about 6 inches.
I'm going to be doing 2 , 3" holes and having the tubes go up to the grab bar with a prefilter so my 4" bilge fan can just throw hot air out the back.

You could design it to look like a "sissy" bar on a motorcycle !

There was a guy that Jerry had some pictures of that he ran some type of tube to the rear vent. Dito That is a very location *BOOM*

I thought about just doing a straight run with the back seat off and putting the tube straight up. Just to see.....
If there is a 1 or 2 mph difference it might be something to look into.
