Intercooler and 4" air intake question
I have read that a intercooler will gain u 200 rpms and a 4" air intake will gain u 200 rpms, so does this mean if you do them together that u will gain 400 rpms?

Well Guys we leak checked Doels ride today... First we found a air leak on each of the injectors were they connect to the intake manifold, we removed them checked for worn O-rings and they looked fine. Re-installed them making sure that they were seated properly with the manifold and fuel rail and tested again. this time we found a leak on the manifold itself. Were the T/B connects to the manifold behind the ring connecting flange of the manifold... it was leaking air between the 2 halfs of the manifold. Mine you that it was leaking with a little over 10 psi of air and for sure not over 14 psi. We are assuming that the manifold is heat welded together therefore we believe its shot unless we can come up with a way of sealing it maybe perhaps with something like PVC glue which melts plastic
( We all know that) from doing sprinkers. The tester is worth its price in gold, unfortunatly its uncovering leaks in places that frankly we wish we didnt know existed. The manifold goes for over $500.00 soooo its either we yank it out and try to seal it or dish the duckies. Bottom line... If you suspect you have a leak and you cant find it then get the tester and check your toy.... you wont believe what you'll find. By the way if anyone has a good idea on how to bullet proof a manifold please let us know.
