cam timing plastic cover
there is a little plastic vover covering my cam gear .got the front cylinder to tdc and 2 dashes one each side...line up with the top of the head ....assuming that means it is good???
ski has been perfect for 3 years...got a sensor messed up or something popping through the intake at part throddle...wide open runs great...got 135 across the board on comp someone said it should be 145 ..so i thought maybe cam ...no codes.....

The cam cover has 2 lines that stay level when Cylinder #3 is at TDC. This is verfied by locking the crank. If you have not messed with the timing then its probably ok. At 135 your compression is a litle low but it may be your method of testing. Do you hold the throttle WOT when testing?

ya i think the cam timing is ok ...just running through the possibilities...the diff in comp could be guage...throddle was wide open ..just going POP POP POP through the intake...at part throddle..wide open runs great..
