    Gonna Start...

Thanks for the input on what I should do to my new GPR first.....I am not trying to build a speed demon, i just want to beat all my friends on their Ultras....I also like some exhaust noise..had a TDR on my zxi and loved it most of the time....I have a water box and FF question.....first my ski is a 05 GPR stock.....I have read through the searches that the FF will drop about 1.5mph on a stock machine...I have also read to use a 1200 Waterbox with the FF and you loose nothing on top end....I dont want to port the cylinders or cut the head at this time...I would like some more noise without loosing top end.....Is the 1200 waterbox with the FF a good idea?

    Thanks

on my zxi and loved it most of the time....I have a water box and FF question.....first my ski is a 05 GPR stock.....
I have read through the searches that the FF will drop about 1.5mph on a stock machine not that much... maybe .5 ...
I have also read to use a 1200 Waterbox with the FF and you loose nothing on top end depends who you talk to, but pretty close....I dont want to port the cylinders or cut the head at this time...
I would like some more noise without loosing top end put the D plate and it will get a bit louder.....
Is the 1200 waterbox with the FF a good idea? sure, why dont you back to back test it at the water and give us some feedback?

    Thanks

with the 1200 water box you wont lose anything. it sounds real nice with a FF. the FF will drop your topend but hole shot will be a little better

The sound from the FF is worth any loss in performance
