    Hydrospace Runabout? MSX Clone

Maybe they really did use an MSX hull for their possible future runabout? Here's a screen cap I took because I couldn't save the pic.

I love that shot!! When I posted it at PWC somebody told me it was fake, I think the only one who knew it was the HS boys was Randy at Watcon. Had they gone further with the project I think it was the Kawi hull they had settled on.

I saw it on http://www.kev-racing.com . Kevin Reiterer rides a HS so it seems legit to me. It's probably just a HS painted MSX 150.

Those kids sure make it look easy.
I wouldn't think they are going forward with their runabout with the way the stand up is progressing.

You have a good point there but a kick butt runabout would instantly boost sales. That is if they can figure out their manufacturing and delivery process to be efficient.

True. The runabouts definately outsell the stand-ups BIG time. The next question would be can they make their runabout good enough, no BETTER than the big dogs. If not they may as well stay at home. So let's see they would need to up the anti over the SD 215HP (posted) engine, BRP can easily run another 30 HP so they would need to shoot for 250HP minimum and the thing better handle the crap water like the Kawi. You're right on the money about distribution, what good is it to make the machine and not get it to the public. Seems like a very tall order for a very small market share.

From the standpoint of a top end ski the MSX would be a very good choice...I mean the lowly (it sounds funny to say that) 200hp out of the matrix motor is good enough to push it into the 68ish range (takes the doo 15 more hp) to do that...

Plus it's certainly a better rough water hull...
