    new speeds and overstuff!

I went out today to try a new rideplate setup and the ski really benefited from the cool weather we are having. i was able to run back to back runs of 74.1 and 73.8 with consistent 73.5s.I am very impressed with the gains capabable with this ski with such little work and now that i have the right setup for this prop. Unfortunately on about the fifth pass I stuffed it at about 73-74 and was sent for a ride. It stuffed and hooked left and of course i kept going straight. The scary thing is I was alone with no one even watching from the shore. Pretty sore but no injuries, The last time this happened to me was on a triple pipe gpr about 7 years ago , I didnt think i would ever do it again. Does the aftermarket intake grate seem to be helping this??

    current setup-

    intake manifold upgrade
    custom f/f exhaust and intake
    c1 wheel
    r&d 13//24
    anti cav cone
custom rideplate and intake mods on stock plate and intake
    hull and pump shoe blueprinting

    edit: and powershot

Don't do any more testing till you get a R&D or RIVA intake grate! You lucked out this time. You might not be so luckey next time. O by the way the intake grate will prevent this from re occuring.

yes i wouldnt go out util your fitted a grate that will stop the over stuffing 100%.

i got bucked off a couple of months back and tore a 13mm tear in my shoulder muscle and trust me its still aches like hell at night.

with the FZR the 1st mod any one should do is the intake grate with out a doubt
