A 10 ft.Picklefork tunnel hull boat setup for outboard motor. I have been told that this hull is used for circleboat racing in the "B" or "C" class, but I don't really know. I was going to just stick a big outboard on it and scream around the lake! I have too many projects that I will never finish and I need the garage room. The hull as shown weighs 225 lbs. It has a nice setback plate to mount the engine and cable steering. It seems to be in good overall condition. May trade for somthing interesting. TIMM 623-877-8553 8am-8pm.

    Curious?

How hard would it be to transfer everything from my really low hour SL1050 to this picklefork tunnel hull? My ski is running awesome but the original owner beached it a lot in it's low hour useage, so was thinking this may be funner and faster than the SL hull i need as much help from the conversion gurus on this site as possible to see if it can work

    ummm, let's get this straight...

You're wondering about taking your Polaris internals and putting them in this Mini-Hydro that was designed for a Outboard?

    WOW
    OK, I'll say it:
NOT going to happen, There is NO way there's room in there for that...
feel free to take this as a dare and prove me wrong though...

The driver sits all the way forward up by the steering wheel, i would think that it would have more engine room than the 9' Sl hull does? But i don't know that is why asking for opinions of the pros doing conversions

OK, but even IF you could shove everything in there, then you'll have to modify the center/rear hull to add the pump drive...

I just can't even picture it happening...

BUT if you can make it work, I'd probably be one of the first in line to buy it...

This is my biggest problem, finding someone to help cut out and glass in what I will need to do it in PHX,AZ metro area I agree once it is done it would be BADASS! Maybe, i should get with Hydrotoys as he knows evrybody on green hulk, he could probably point out who is here in Phoenix metro area to aid in conversion!

The problem with a pickle fork is there is not enough depth in the hull, the centerline of your crank would be set the outlet of the pump a foot out of the water.

Even it you cut the jetpump sectiuon from the SL1050 and glassed it in the tunnel hull?

maybe a prop/ruder setup might work? that might not be as much work as glassing in all the jetpump b.s.? just some thoughts... looks like a cool project tho...
