    700 mod pipe

Pictures for Casey and anyone else that wants a look. Hopefully I'll get to using this thing this year. Got it from Aaron a couple years ago and it was said to be a LCP (lake city Polaris) pipe.

    Thankyou.
A 500 rpm gain is deffinetly a big deal. I'm not sure how the alltitude changes/affects rpm's,the 6000 initial rpm sounds pretty low. But with the 500 rpm gain,I bet it went like crazy.

I'm itching to try it. The season is over here and I finally got enough ignition parts to make it a runner. I need to put a couple of hours on it in stock form, may even have to learn to ride it. It's been so long. I know Bruce runs a pipe just like this. I think AL has one on his cane too. I was hoping someone with more experience could chime in with a little knowledge on the subject far as carbs, jets, restrictors. I got to do some old post reading. I think Mick was getting 8k out of a pipe like this.

Second time out she flew and no bogging down, had a few good hours on the ski, ride plate seams to bring the ski on to plane really quick, and hold the ski very flat with almost 0% porpusing, I think it may be ristricking the turn a little but the sea was far to rough to tell
    OUT I GO

    IN I COME

My only main issue with the ski is that in rough waters the spark arrestors (filters) are taking in water and causing a stall (is this common), I would really like a standard filter box for sea ridding, a part from this i had 8100rpm (could the ecu be allowing these rpm it revs very high very quick and pulls all the way) and 63 mph gps, so i am megga happy with the performance and the fact that i built the whole dam thing ,
It is absoultly shocking how fast it revs on the water and really pulls your arms strong, i never saw more that 7300rpm before this rebuild so im guessing ive got some things right, Had to slow down and remind myself i was running the motor in, but sometimes the grin factor takes over,

If anyone can help with a standard air box set up fo the cane i would be very greatful,

The ride plate was a great finish to the ski and you really could feel it lift out the water and sit very happy even over rough water

well got to unpack the car and the ski now so i will be back on latter
