What are you guys using to plug the oil cap and fuel shut off?
Ive been poking around here all day reading up on stuff as I am just starting out on a conversion build and am admittedly an amateur compared to you guys.
I didnt find an answer to a few questions - the first of which is what you guys are doing to plug the holes for oil and fuel shut off. I know Beerdart and others have installed gauges.. just looking for other ideas. What plugged the side for fuel shut off on the EFI models? My buddy has one.. when I looked at it, there was just an open hole and you can see the hull underneath it.

on the EFI skis there is a plastic plate that snaps over the hole in the fairing.
Guages are better

I left the red knob in there for now, but I'm putting a boost gauge in there this winter.

If you are having the fairings painted make sure you have them sand off the off/on/res on the right hand side .

Its too bad the holes are so deep, otherwise something could be epoxied behind it and they could be filled in with epoxy or some other sort of plastic filler....
Autometer gauges arent waterproof are they? Are you guys using marine gauges that are waterproof?

I had the holes on mine filled and then painted...it turned out awesome! Not sure what they used but I do remember that they made some kind of round disc that was inset just a bit in to the holes and epoxied in place with something then coverd over and smoothed out and painted.
