    Dealer replaced supercharger after failure.

My concern is that I was not aware if washers where sucked into oil pumps the dealer did not specify and I was a newbie @ the time so I was pretty clueless.I will be taking out the supercharger for the metal washer install whats the best way to chk. for ceramic washer ingestion into oil pumps.I wish I would have found this site before I bought my sea doo. I appreciate all the great info on this forum guys.

Have you used the ski since the supercharger was refitted?? One would like to think that your dealer has done the job properly and made sure to remove any bits of the old washers from the motor completely.

Why not ask your dealer what his repair procedure was. Also ask for a copy of the repair order. It should state what was done and how it was done--replace SC washers--remove and clean oil pumps--etc.

If Washers go out you will need to replace more then just the washer. At the very least front and rear oil pump needs to come out and more likely replace, but i would pull the engine out just to be on the safe side and collect all the litle ceramic peaces from all over the engine.
