I was under the impression that there really haven't been a lot of SC failures with the FZR's; are the sprag setups failing?

Oh, my bad. When you said damaged I assumed you meant the shaft. I have heard of people snapping the stock shaft when installing SC wheels, but so far the clutches seem to be holding up well. I haven't heard of any failures, so I assume an OEM replacement would be fine??

There have been at least 4 occasions I personally know of where the clutches let go. OEM replacements were used but guess what. Both ski's were highly modded.

All I read about was on machines with no BOV and non-stock SC wheels.

I haven't heard of any failures where people were running a quality BOV like the HKS.
