What Size Tap to use? Exhaust Bolts
What size drill and tap would I need to use for the exhaust bolts (14mm head)? Some of my threads need to be cleaned up a bit after being resurfaced.

If you are just cleaning up the threads a tap will work, but is designed to actually cut threads. Problems with using a cutting tap is that it can remove too much material and can cause a bolt to strip out when torqued.
A thread chaser is designed to clean up existing threads
