    Anyone have a 212SS?

Ive had a couple of Seadoo boats (the Speedster 200 wake & a Challenger 230) and loved them. Now thinking of the Yamaha 212SS as they look beautiful.

Anyone have one or tried one?, as i need to buy one but will not beable to have a water test.

I just bought one in Aug and love it. I had an Exciter with Group K Sleeper and a LX2000 with Group K Stage 2. The SS is our favorite, Still fast but rides the rough so much better than the other two.

I'm also interested in this. I've been on the PWC side of the forum forever, but now I'm looking at a 21SS or an AR210, any insight you guys can give would be awesome. Personally leaning towards the Yamis for more fuel efficient motors, better looks, and IMO they're a lot higher quality. Thanks guys!

I would suggest getting the 212X over the AR210 if you want a tower. The X has the 160hp motors while the AR has the 110hp motors. Some people complain about the power with the 110s when loaded heavy or at altitude. My SS has the 160s and runs great. Just would like a couple of the SHO FZR motors in there and see how it runs.

Thanks, I'm already a member over there. Is 16-18k a realistic price range for an 06' for any model 210?

I really don't know on the price. Seems like a good time to buy though.

I have a 2008 212SS and love it. I went from a 28' Nordic to the Yamaha and I like in better in many areas. It's not a big water boat and on holiday weekends at Havasu it gets thumped, but for mid to no chop it is a rocket.

Kids love it and the swim step is the BOMB!!!! Great boat.

Does good on gas and is cheap to insure and maintain.
