    New SC New Top Speed!!

Today I finished wrenching on the ski installing the SC that I picked up from Jerry along with the 42# injectors.

SC is 06' rebuild with metal washers new housing and the RR wheel.

Before this I was running the Riva thru hull, intake, and intercooler with the solas 14/19 out of the box.

Previous best was a spike of 70.1 that I saw back in april when it was cold out and an average summer speed of 67-68 @ 7700-7800 RPM. Which I was also running recently with no IC at all.

Today with the new charger and IC in I ran 72.1 @8100 RPM!!

The acceleration is out of control totally new feel. I was running with a stock 06' and there was no comarsion I was out of there once I hit the throttle. Fuel consumtion wasa bit excessive but I was riding on glass going for speed with the new injectors so that was to be expected.

I have a 15/20 on the way from Jerry so that will probably help a little and Shibby is gonna let me tinker with one of his ECU's to see where it would be at with that.

Overall I am real happy with the new setup this thing is an animal. now some fine tuning and I'm sure I should be able to see 75 which would be good enough for me.

The old SC that I took out is an 05' with 120 hrs on it and the cermics were still in place but a hell of a lot thinner than the metal washers on the new one. I'm sure it was just a matter of time before they went. Might sell the old charger but not sure what it's even worth.

Glad to know it worked out well for you. That new Rotax Racing SC impeller offers a lot of bang for your buck. 2 mph gain is nothing to sneeze at.

I was gonna leave it out but figure I might as wll give it a try and see what happens. I mean it's running 8100-8150 now I don't know if it will stay there or not with the 15/20. Or I might just wait till it gets colder out and run it then Might see a difference in cold weather.

Why is that Jeff? We are running well into the 80's with this impeller.

No, run this impeller. You may have to take 2mm out of the trailing edge, but it WILL be faster than your 14/19 and offer better acceleration.

I have the same setup as you with the 15/20 w/jerry's 2mm touch but without the injectors, and with the Riva Sc impeller and I am seeing 72.8 in 100+ air temps and upper 80s water [email protected], did 73.5 at jerrys place which is sea level. So I second the 15/20 with the Rotax impeller you should be seeing more speed than me

Yeah when it gets here it's going in and we'll see what comes of it. I should probably refill my rideplate too and see where that gets me. I think I might have one hole filled now time to redo it.

these speeds are low way low you must have a boost leak or something. I run high 72s in 80 +heat with less mods. this is an rxp right? something isnt right I would run 75+ with an intercooler alone. with your mods close to 80 i think. look for gremlins ur mising something I think. just my 2c
