    Toy Rak

    I like it

    $5,250

    Toy Rak for PWC

The base of the hoist system is rated for 1,800lbs

That would be borderline for a pair of full up big PWC.

I do like the easy storage of the platform when it is off the truck.

Well the big thing is you can do long hauls with it and not have to worry about trailer speeds and parking etc.... Would love something like this for Ny-Fla..

I think the guy that was backing the Suburban down the ramp was at Mud Bug in '07. I seem to remember that technique.

    jet trax clone

I see they have no problem promoting the overloading of a pickup truck. That sure looks like a short bed truck

I like the jet trax system, but you need an 8ft pickup of at least 3/4 ton capacity to do this safely....and you better have a bad boy floor jack in your truck if you get a flat while you are loaded too. I'd prefer an f-350 dually class truck to haul a couple of full sized skis

    http://www.jettrax.com/PWC-Lifts.htm

    half the price too!

I am in no way shape or form assocaited with jet trax thier dealers or other suppliers.

One nice thing about the Toy Rak system is you can unload the PWC platform onto the roadside behind the truck, then deal with the flat tire.

The Jet Trax system would be much more limiting in that regard.

It does seem like the Toy Rak for PWC was designed for a pair of light weight PWC, not the 1,000+ pound machines.

It also carries the weight up high. Emergency lane changes with that much weight (1,800lb rating) up that high might be challenging.
