    Black in Fla

    Hi I'm looking for a RXT and live in Florida I like the black but am worried about how hot it gets in the sun. I've got a black truck and it will give you third degree burns. Has anyone found this a problem and is the silver or red any better?
    thanks

    I wouldn't let that be a determining factor... black is beautiful They all get hot... no matter the color.

    If you notice the seat isnt black. So I dont understand the problem. Black will fade in about 5 years with no attention. With a cover and occasional wax it will last a long time. The Gel coat can be brought back with some work (from fading)

    i got black, no prob, heat is not a factor, its going to be in water and it'l be splashed one way or the other,fiberglass wont get as hot as metal anyways, its not like a car, that sits on hot asphalt most of the day

    Third degree burns? whatever....

    I LOVE the black hulls; to me they look badazz coming across the water, heck they look badazz even sitting still!

    Doesn't get hot at all, in fact you never really touch the hull anyway, there are mats in the wells for your feet so I'm really not sure what you're talking about....

    The usual complaint with black hulls is the water spots;
    but this is easily avoided if you wipe them down before they
    dry. After we spray them off with the hose, we wipe ours down immediately with a towel; no spots ever and they look just as good today as they did when new.
