    Smile Gp1300r -'06

Hi All! I am new, and trying a thing. I have a question? I have an '06 GP1300R Stage 1 no heads or porting clocking 70mph which i use for cc racing. I usually run a 14/20 impella and thought i could get more speed if I droped to a 13/19, however, to my surprise...it just rev's out as if I was using the stock impella? Has anyone else have this problem...too much power for a 13/19 with no engine work...efi 3:2:3:1?

    Welcome to the forum !!!

I remember we chatted about your boat a little while back (I think)

What are your rpm readings ?

I could be mistaken but I thought 13/19 pretty much was a stock impeller pitch for the 05-06?
Unless your rpms drop to low you will usually get more speed from a higher pitch and more holeshot from a lower pitch (unless its TO low).

Yeah, that was me. I dont have a passport (yet), and couldnt get one in time to meet your deadline. Sorry.

Keyway will definately help the holeshot. Get an aftermarket tach so we can get some top-end rpm readings to dial in your prop.
