    Stripped Ride Plate screw. . .

    Any suggestions on how to get a stuck ride plate screw out on my 2000 gpr would be greatley appreciated! Its the on the port side in the very back. . . not the bolt but the nut is stripped i didnt take a really good look back in there but is there a bolt that needs to be held or should it just come out the other 3 just came out. . . thanks. . .

    The nut is glued to the hull you will need to get the glue off so you can get ahold of it then you should get something like this to replace both sides....

    Newb question so is the R&D Yam. GPR Pump Shoe Insert KIT and the R&D Yam. GPR Ride Plate Insert KIT the exact same thing on pwcperformance? i bought the pump shoe kit already for the tunnel reenforcement. . .

    Yes pm WFO I think he makes a nice one for both and most people change the driveshaft hose as well while the pump is out it is only a few bucks WFO can hook you up. Ron

    or go to your local alum welding shop and get some 1/4 thick scrap stock drill your holes and do it for next to nothing. Lee

    yes hold the insert! your bud while you turn the bolt, the best way to remove then follow my deal above . Lee

    thanks Carlson! It amazes me everyday the knowledge you can gain from the "Search" function and by just asking questions on here thanks for the info. . . Ill head to a local alum welding shop this week! i wish i would have known this before i spent 60 on a set from on here but hey i supported an amazing site. . .
