Can this thing rev any higher?>>lead sled.

These are some videos of my polaris 95 750slt with a 94sl 750 motor in it. I just listed all the vids so you guys could hear and listen to the engine actually going all out. I'd like to hear from you all from a tuning aspect!. If ya would please! Does it sound like its going all out in pitch? (hearing that is!) or could it rev even higher than that? not sure what prop.average I guess. it's great out of the hole too. Well for a slt it is! don't laugh! lol I'll have my hot rod here soon enough! The SLT runs up to 6200 on the tach and 43.1 mph tops.SLOW- with dog also.

6200 RPM would be about normal. I thought they turned closer to 6300 though, but you're around average.

Should be close to 45 MPH, which you're really close to.

Maybe check the stator vanes, impeller and impeller clearance for you missing 1 MPH.

Or KNOCK the DOG off!. Thats 50 lbs extra weight and then do the Superman full throttle until she plans perfectly. I can get a burst of 6250 for a few seconds and even seen a 6300 briefly. I think that is max with no upgrades, but the carbs are trashed,so I doubt if I could hit the magic 45 mph until thats done. I do remember seeing a 48 or 49 once too. a few summers ago. Still nothing higher than 6250.
How high will it go on the current stock electronics? rev limiter? 6700? What mods would boost that? not counting adding a new cdi box and wires from a pro 785. Timing? Bigger carbs? pipes? or combo effect?ride plate too huh?
    lifts the hull out better.

Oh it can rev higher than that. You just need to upgrade things a bit.
This little Fugi is turning around 7480 strapped down in the water.

Yep it's a 780, and she's turning more rpms now with more prop. I was turning 7700-7800 with the prop that came stock on your slt. I'm now tuning for my 780 prop, and have more work to do.
