its for a yamaha but the thread has lots of good advice in it.

I buy fogging oil. put sta-bill in the gas tank along with a full tank of gas, and run the ski a few times-no more than 15 secs at a time. let it cool. until you think enough gas has passed thru the carbs to get the sta-bill thru the carbs, then on the last start-up spray the oil into the engine until it dies or 5 seconds. . then spray down everything with silicone spray AFTER it cools down. Pull the plugs, spray down there too. fogging oil that is!. Then replace plugs. drain ski of water, leave plug out for drainage, wax the hull, cover and shrinkwrap till spring. Store battery inside house and charge on trickle charge.

I cant speak for all polaris's, but my 94sl had ribbing in the bottom. it was kinda hard getting the water out completely. So i used a rag to sop up what was left.

Welcome to the HULK! just ask.
