If you are running a bigger sc or intercooler then it's necessary to catch the oil vapors and gunk from the engine. Without it it will fill up your intake with slimy oil or if you leave it unhook it will coat your hull with slimy oil. I get about 1/4 cup out of mine for a tankful of fuel. If you are running stock sc, etc., then it's not necessary.

You need a catch can... along with a 4" air intake, if you don't already have one!

i think it is better to not put it on cause leaving it in the riva power filter will help oil your supercharger and valves, isnt that correct?

No...there is no value routing the oil gunk into the power filter...it just makes a mess of your intake and sc. The oil cannot really get into the sc. It just hits the wheel and is slung out of the sc and makes a royal mess.
