Coating GPR1300 P/V with low friction coating

Has anyone considered coating the GPR 1300 power valves with a low friction coating; possibly the same coating that some have applied to the piston skirts??
I was thinking the coating would allow an increase in the time between valve clean up periods.
    Any thought??

I can't really see it being necessary. But I guess it can't hurt if you want to try it.

I was looking at my clean ones (2003) and noticed they've got some kind off finish to them; a kind of dark brown, could they already have some kind of coating??
