How to run the water hoses on this TWIST head?!

    Hey guys -

Im at a loss. Im trying to install this new engine in my XP, and it has a TWIST head on there, but it has a weird setup. No inlets, only two outlets. What gives?

if there are no outlets that would lead me to believe that the the mag side is the exit and the pto side is the inlet.

flip it over and shoot another pic

Thats what I initially thought but wondered why they would be facing the rear of the ski, versus opposite ways.

The opposite of the head. Left is PTO, right is MAG.

I think by looking at that side they are both inlets on the head and the exit is on the bottom of the jugs that exits out the exhaust pipe

So how on earth would I run that line? Split off the one from the rear pump?

I would assume that you need a Y fitting not a T. But, yes I would split the line coming from the pump

Thats what I figured, then just run the line from the exhaust ( the one that connects to the exit from the head ) straight to the outlet in the rear of the hull.

Alright, looks like I gotta get some heater hose and some 3/8th inch Y fittings from Home Depot.

Im a little confused by your post...but the more that I think about it if you do that you are not feeding your pipe either and then there is you water out line thats just hanging there....im gonna have to think about this one.

I think that I need better pictures of the top of the head...somethings not adding up.

Think about it, where does the hose from the Mag side of the stock head that connects to the exhaust go? I have two inlets on this head, but no outlets.

I'll hook it all up and you tell me if that looks right. This is for a factory pipe spec 1 that has water injection.
