    Would that be the extended 'O' version of the ride plate?

    How would it compare with the bat-wing ride plate on a Virage TXi?

    Yes it is the extended version.

    Look through my Virage TX project thread as it talks a bit about the differences...on page 4. PolarisNut and Txpro1200 had the most tested comments on the two.

    IIRC, OP only made one plate for the SLTX/Virage hull...It was worth at least 1mph on my ski, over the Batwing plate. Gave a more bouncy ride in the rough though. The plate fit like crap on my ski though...I had to redrill the holes in the plate to get the bolts to fit. I wasn't very happy after spending $200 on it!

    That is what I seemed to recall - that the bat wing plate was better for rough water.

    Since I mostly ride in chop, or rougher, I am looking for better tracking, not more speed or bounce.

    Thanks for the comments

    From an Al post;
    "Working side-by-side with the people who have invested in our watercraft allows us to exchange ideas and develop relationships with the racers," said Dan Schroepfer, Polaris watercraft product and race manager.

    “This on-site support, combined with the best contingency program in the watercraft industry, further reinforces our commitment to the watercraft sport - not just to pros, but beginners, novice and expert racers.” Racers will also be interested in the previously announced Polaris Contingency Program, which offers more than $1 million to racers from all levels. Interested racers can request a registration form by contacting Polaris at: Polaris Watercraft Racing, 2100 Hwy 55, Medina, MN 55340 or by downloading a form from the Polaris Watercraft Racing website at polarisindustries.com. Race contingency registrants from last season will automatically receive a registration form by mail, email or fax.

    Yeah I didn't realize it was Dan at first so I sent the poster a email and then I found out it was him. I was just at his place a few months ago...he has a number of new stuff he's getting rid of slowly. Dan was head of the whole watercraft division for the last 8yrs. of operation.

    Why doesn't he come on here then?

    Would be good place for him to off load any parts he may have....
