    Supercharger wheels????

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Racetech drop in for the fz series.I spoke to the rep and he said its cnc machined and very lightweight and pushed some very impressive psi and hp numbers when tested with the motec ecu.I have used their rude drop ins and they are very well made and perform very well.Just want the best wheel.Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot believe nobody on here has tried a wheel other than the riva and r&d ones.Just want to know what the best option for an all out high psi charger.

The last time I gave my opinion on those other wheels they didn't like what I said and the thread/posts got deleted.

Seems to be common with this topic and a certain (now banned) user.

That said, I personally believe that with these particular products Riva and R&D should be patronized as they have a solid history of creating excellant wheels through THEIR research and testing not to mention THEIR dollars.

I understand, just want the best wheel, and yes i agree companies that put the money into r&d should be considered first. But competition is healthy and brings both better products and better prices.Nobody is really reinventing the wheel so to speak.

from what i have heard these wheels are good quality but have not heard or seen any feed back from Yamaha owners that may have used them. they are popular wheels on the Sea Doo side and those guys that have used them swear by them, so hope any yammie rides that may have tried them will chime in

    1. all the aftermarket wheels are significantly lighter than the stock wheel
    2. they are all cnc machined
    3. they all push more boost

I don't see anything there that makes one wheel (e-tech, race-tech, riva, or R&D) better than the rest. If all you're after is peak numbers then just go by their output ratings.

just had a quick look at what the 3 companys had to offer

    Manufacture: Riva
    model: E1
    Output: 16psi @ 8,000rpm
    Price: $599.95
drop in no modification to housing

    Manufacture: R&D
    model: C5 Monster Charger Wheel
    Output: 15psi @ 8,300rpm
    Price: $675.00
    R&D has to machine housing

    Manufacture: Engine-tech
model: FX SHO /FZR/FZS High Boost
    Output: 15.5psi @ 8,350rpm
