Question on 05 GTX Limited S/C

My buddy bought an 05 GTX Limited 215hp ski, I've convinced him finally that he needs to do something about the s/c before it blows up. What do you recommend?

Jerry, how much to send it to you and make it more reliable?

there's a thread on this forum that tells you all about this, where to ship it, where to buy the washers, types of payments accepted etc. I believe its under "How to" section, and its a sticky posted by Jerry, you should take a look at it.

Here is the thread you mentioned.

For those needing your supercharger rebuilt, clutch washers changed, etc.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If just changing your washers I fully inspect your supercharger for excessive wear and check the slip moment on the clutch. If shimming is necessary i provide the shim(s) at no extra charge. If wear is excessive and shims won't do the trick i will contact you and recommend that a full rebuild be done. I also return all used parts when i ship your supercharger back to you.

It is recommended by Sea Doo and by myself that your supercharger have a full rebuild every 100 hours. If your supercharger has 70-80 hours on it and you want to do just washers you might want to consider the full rebuild being that you are so close to the 100 hour mark.

I ask that you purchase the parts you need through my online store and in the comments section make a notation that you are sending in your supercharger for service that way I hold your parts here. A return shipping charge of $15 will be charged with your parts purchase in the online store to cover the return of your supercharger. I will adjust the shipping price in the online store before i process your credit card.

Parts for the supercharger can be found here in my online store:
    http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...ex&cPath=18_63

Instructions on how to remove your supercharger are here:
    http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13403

I charge $50 to change just the washers and $75 for a full rebuild.

Please make the check out to Jerry Gaddis and send it along with your supercharger to the following address

    4-Tec Performance
    105 Roderick Street
    Morgan City, LA 70380

Please be sure to write your order number on the outside of the box.

Your supercharger will be worked on the day received and be on the way back to you the next day.

    Thank You,

    Jerry
