    My 11 second 1997 Z28

Here's some pics of my 97 Z28 I've had since 1999. It's progressed from a 13.9 second car stock to the 11 second car it is today

It went 11's on her last motor, but I've since built up a forged internals 355 with the same heads but larger cam than it had. The track pic is old, the front wheels will probably come up a few inches now when I install the larger torque converter and nastier rear gear.

Some pics of her in street and track trim below, and some build up pics from my 355 install in my garage.

Thank GOD not that bodystyle. Hats off to anyone who wrenches on those cars. Just changing plugs is a biatch. Got another headder Y-pipe on a TA Tuesday coming with cutout. I can say I`d rather do headers onthese instead of DOHC 4.6`s in `Stangs though.

I take it you don't like this car's bodystyle? Sorry, just confused.

Once you get used to these things it's no big deal. It went from a shortblock with a set of heads on it with none of it's wiring or accessories, or rockers for that matter to running in the car in about 24 hours (8 of those spent sleeping).

I can do plug changes on it with these headers in about 45 minutes..

Here are pics of my old F-body.

1994 25th Anniversary Trans Am. Took 1st in class at the Houston Auto-Rama for 5 years.
One of 91 built with M6, T-tops, CD player......lots of suspension mods
Global West panhard rod, Lakewood lower boxed control arms, cold-Air intake, LT4 knock module, HPP programmer, Skip-shift eliminator, 1LE alum driveshaft, Poly bushings throughout.....an on and on and on........I miss it
    It was flawless.......

sold it to build a pool..
