    Name that part

    i found it fascinating anyway ..... have this in my shop behind one of the waste oil drums just been sitting there. looked like it belonged to something, didn't want to throw it out all this time... finally found out its origin

    having only seen online pictures of big machinery.... having a piston ring like that in my hands was just amazing. i'm looking at it trying to figure out how it clamps onto a 55-gallon drum or something since it was laying next to a drum..... came from one of the powerplants' diesel generators
