    Shark Fishing trip 7/17/10

I know its early.. but I just booked it and sent the deposit. This is an annual trip that I take every year with a few buddies. There are five spots available as of right now and the cost is $160 per person. We leave from Galilee RI and fish off shore from Block Island. We use 'C-Devil II' charters. The captain is fantastic and has 20+ years experience. Every year we catch sharks. We also catch tuna and/or stripers on the way out.

If you want any other details, PM me.

Last July, we caught around 25 blue sharks. Two were around 400lbs.

why would you want to catch sharks, its not like you can eat them.....

sorry but it sounds kind of cruel to me.

Nothing cruel involved. Catch and release if we catch blue sharks.

You absolutely CAN eat Mako or Thresher sharks and its GOOD eating. Its a very hearty fish like tuna and makes great steaks on the grill with some lemon and seasoning! I buy them at stop and shop from time to time.

Its a Saturday in the summer. I look to get commitments and $$ from people early because trying to scrap people together last minute never works out well. Youll have a great time Otto. Think about it, LMK.

The price is very good. If you fish out of Montauk, youll pay double and fish the same area.
