    Towing with the rear spray

Hello. I'm very close to purchasing a new FX HO. Our counterparts on the sea-doo forum say that it is next to impossible to tow anything on a Yammy due to the rear spray shower. I'm assuming this isn't true, but is it any sort of issue??? We will be towing tubers, skiiers, etc. the majority of the time the ski is in the water. Is there anyway to bypass the spray?

You can tow people with no problems, I do it all the time. It doesnt feel the best when going under where the spray is landing, but it's deffinately more than barable.

If you dont mind doing a slight mod to your ski, you can add an on/off valve like these guys did:

If you are going to be pulling tubes, pull of the hose that connects to the spout off and go. Reattach if you want after towing or just leave the damn thing off.

    Thanks for the info

Does cutting the hose, or putting a valve on have any warranty implications? Is this purely a visual aid showing that water is running through the system???

+1...has nothing to do with cooling and is rather annoying when your on a tube, or following someone on the twisties we ride.
