    tow veh

i have a 03 sportster 155hp. selling my truck rusting out badly, and was wondering if a 89 4cyl honda accord will pull my boat up a small incline boat ramp. i also have a 04 acura tl with 6 cyl but would rather not put a hitch on that veh. thanks

depends on the incline, as long as your front tires dont get wet.

This FWD will not pull that boat out of the water. Happy?

Maxracing is right it does depend on the incline but there will be to much tongue weight for that car to safely pull that boat up the ramp.

Also, from 1982-present Honda does NOT recommend towing with any of there cars.

Haha... there is so much tow vehicle bigotry out there.... I've been towing my Sportster SCIC (S150) with a FWD for 3 years now and have not had a problem yet. If you set up the rig right and have good tires and weight distro- NO problem...

There are youtube videos of small RWD pickups having trouble on boat ramps where a FWD would have its tires on dry(er) pavement...

Take what is said here (including my advice) with a good chuck of internet grains of salt.

thank you!!! someone has agreed with me.
as long as your tires dont get wet, and the ramp is in good condition/incline you can do it.
