    steel liner removal

    whats the best way to remove a stainless steel liner out of the pump

    you have to stick it in the oven, for a few minutes and it should come off by itself,

    THats the way i have removed my stainless linear on setback which sticks out of the pump. Its the only way it will come out.

    You just need the exact size pipe so it sits on the pump lip. Its the initial movement that you have to break. ONce it gets 1/2 inch to 1 inch out it will come right out.

    thanks guys tried all the above and it didnt work so we ended up tig welding a piece to the inside and attached a draw bar to it and pulled it out

    it was in perfect shape but we have no use for a steel liner so didnt mater if we ruined it.
    i presume above methods are used to not damage the liner
