Not sure but did you start your ski before you turned on the water

I use a ball valve adapter on flush hose. $5 at walmart in lawn & garden. It's nice not having to run 50 FT to turn water on/off.
And i agree, pretty crazy revving the ski up like that on the trailer

Nice now you have me wondering because I don't know anyone here, in Japan anyway, that DOESN'T chop the throttle after flushing to remove water. Half the time, maybe for a second their shit is banging off the limiter while doing it. I blip the throttle I must say, but nothing like ripping it all the way back. Leaving just a fraction of salt in the motor everytime I ride would be the death of the ski. Plenty of hours on mine with no issues from doing so.
On the flip side I would never dream of starting the water first then walking back to the ski to start it. Follow the manual for flushing techniques is always good practice
One other key point:** the above method is if not using a product like salt away while flushing. If using salt away ball up the above practices and throw all of it in the trash.**
