    Best slipmoment for Mini Rude

What's the best slipmoment for the Mini Rude.

With the 5 Mc Master springwashers i have 17 - 18 nm slip
    (150 - 160 lb in)
    ( 12.5 - 13.3 lb ft)

Is this strong enough,or would a higher slip be better.

I think i will be fine, but any advice is welcome on this one!

I had Jerry rebuild my S/C with the Mini Rude and he set my slip at 14, Terry's Mini Rude was set I belive to 18 and he snapped the shaft. I would set it lower IMO.

    I run the stock X charger at 12.5 - 13... so I would say that 14 lbf-ft would be a good number.

Ok thanks,i have some belleville springwasher also, i ordered them at leespring.com.
Will try them on and see what slip i can get, otherwise i will mix them up with the mc masters.

18 is way to much ,must have been a mess with the broken shaft.

I will go for 14 seems ok for me,the bigger chargers need more slip but 18 is way to much!

Bty the general consensus in the forum has been the use of the McMaster washers.

    Hi Snoman,

If 14 ft lbs is perfect for a Mini-Rude. I think 16 ft lbs would be perfect for a 2Rude right. Please let me know.

14 ft lbs for either but 16 won't hurt.

Figure 1 ft lb slip for every 1 psi boost anticipated.
