HYDRODRAGS Whos in? - need to know

    Hello speed freaks,

As we have a hand full of pre-registrations, we are sure we are not seeing the whole picture of who is coming.

Can we get those entries e-mailed to us, called in, or sound off here and let us know who, how many, what classes, so on so we can plan appropriately our time?

    Thanks

Tim we got 4 going down Friday, Can you elaborate on the grudge matches and how much will it cost since we havent seen anything mentioned about how they are going to be handled except the time frame in which they are supposed to be held.
I think you might see things pickup somewhat since Dan mentioned that hes skipping the drags this time. I just have a feeling that peeps are holding back because of the rule on the skis with modded waterboxes being placed on the unlimited category but thats only my guess. I'm pretty sure you'll have a better turnout than last spring.

Here is the info on the event.

Grudge Match drags are $30 (for two riders) for best of three races. $10 goes to the winner, you can put more in the pot if you want and the difference will go to the winner.

For those with water box issues, CHANGE YOUR WATERBOXES TO COMPLY with the rules! you aren't going to loose any speed!

    All in fun!
Please avoid faxing as our fax machine is out of ink at the moment. Can scan and e-mail or call in and we will honor the pre-reg pricing. .

Thanks for the info. Tim. On the waterbox issue: alot easier said than done.... I dont think anyone can reverse a waterbox installation back to stock because 90%
of those that have a modded waterbox also have thru hull. I can practically guarantee you that if the waterboxes were not an issue as far as the category in which people are going to be placed, specially in the limited category the registration numbers you are seeing now would be drastically different as most of us here would fall into the limited cat. It aint to late in the game for the change. More registrations =more mula. Heck even dan thought that the waterbox rule was pointless, write it off as a typo and make us happy. lol....

Time to show your support for the sport. It don't matter if you got thru hull exhaust or waterbox mods or ventilation mods. Someone will be there to race you. If you have a box stock couch someone else will be there with similar mods. So challenge someone or bring your riding buddy. It's all about having fun. If you want to race bring your boat and we will find someone to race you.

you are absolutely right!!!!!!, but when things change after you have participated in the last 3 times in one class and with out changing anything now your higher, the number of participants decline, mods that sound good for the owner but give no advantage, asking them to change back???????, if you want less participants, make changes that make no sense less people will come......this is what alot of people been saying all along

Tim needs to see who turns out so he can make new classes for next year. The APBA rules do not work well for rec riders. They need some tweeking. That is why he started grudge racing to help develop additional classes. He needs all racers he can get so show up and someone will race you. Last race 4 stock 3 seaters showed up and raced each other some had loud exhaust, breathers, props, air intake and such the normal rec rider package. They had just as much fun as the unlimited guys.
It is alot more equal start than lining up and going 1 2 3 go.
