    Removing BOV

What are you guys doing to delete the BOV on the Riva kits? Taking the BOV out of the hose and plugging or plugging the bung off of the plastic pipe?

Capping off the bung on the plastic pipe with a 3/4 cap, found at most auto parts stores...PR...

I`m not using the BOV in my Power Cooler Kit...

there are many threads about the BOV... most delete it bc,
the stacking of the air or back flow helps slow down the SC speeds, if the BOV lets the pressure vent there is nothing to help slow down the SC when on and off the throttle...

I`m sure some here can explain it better...PR...

But PR,,there is no weight to slow down with the BOV as without it. I don`t run one but I still don`t see how it can`t benifit clutch life. No as far as performance, don`t run one.

`07`s are coming out soon and this still is on the fence.

I felt good running one with the ceramics in there but now that I have gone to metal I dont think it's as necessary. Plus I dont want to chance any leaks with it in there. My original SC made it over 120 hrs and half of that was with the BOV in there. Don't know if it helped or not but I ride hard in chop and it held together so I guess it may have.

Turbo applications use the BOV most, I haven`t seen to many vortech or Novi kits using them unless seriously set-up for the track., AND htye don`t have our crappy ceramic clutch and weak drive shaft issues!?
    Good answer Heh!?...PR...
