    What speeds can I expect out of my rxp and rxt?

    What STOCK speeds should I expect out of my 09 rxp and 09 rxt....lets assume full tank of gas and me on there (I weight 250)....I was thinking 65mph would this be about right?

    I am not to interested in doing any upgrades to the skis, I want to keep them stock....the reason I ask is because I have always riddon xp's and I didnt know how the speed is compared to the xp.

    What is the top speed of say a 2002 seadoo xp with full tank of gas and me weighing 250? Do the xp and rxp/rxt reach top speeds at about the same rate?

    My opinion is:

    RXP = 67 MPH
    RXT = 64 MPH
    XP = 59 MPH

    All with a full tank and a 250 lb. rider.

    The RXT would likely make it to top speed first if you lean over the handle bars on take-off.

    Don't trust the speedometer. But since you're not interested in modifying, it doesn't much matter.

    Im 180lb had 5 bars of fuel pluse my gear like a fire ex & anchor ect ect and i did 69.9mph at 10hr's now im at 70.8mph with the same set-up but with the ride plate holes filled. IMO mine is faster then normal but you should see 67mph. Theres a couple mods you could do like intake grate and fill the ride plate holes. I think we all say were staying stock but not many do aha....

    I weigh 250 and have a stock RXT. I've been getting 68-69 consistently (on speedo).

    You can't go buy the dreamO meter. use a gps toget an accurate reading

    +1, you need a GPS to get an accurate speed,
    and keep in mind you will always get better speeds and RPM
    in the cooler months when the air is dry and heat soak is not a problem.
