    Flipping Throtle Control Around

    Is it possible to flip the control throtle to the front of my grip on my 780slt??

    I know it will make my thumb go after a while and im looking to change it around

    In theory it sounds good, but I have heard of issues with the length of the cable being too short to do it properly. I do not know for sure, I have not tried it. I know there have been some UMI throttle levers in the classifieds, but I think they were all sold otherwise I would be getting one of those. They look great, I love the UMI stuff.

    Yes you can turn it to the other side with no issues except for one. You will need to cut out a small portion in the handle bar pad to give the cable room to pass through.

    ive got a kvpi and nathans got an umi both work great. my stock one broke immediatly.

    Hi, did you get around to attempting the lever change? I would be interested in hearing about it if you have as I'm looking at doing exactly the same thing.

    Definitely would be interested too..hitting the throttle with your thumb gets pretty annoying after a while.

    It works guys. Give it a shot.

    But, I'd get an actual finger throttle lever anyways. Those plastic levers seem to break on occaission.

    i have broke two with them as thumb throttles not as fingers i plan to trun mine around as well
