Thread: bilge outlet??

just wondering what a good location would be to drill for outlet of bilge?
i was thinking under the grab rail seems good since i dont want to drill into hull
ive got 04 rxp.
pics from people would be great.

A little more info would probably be help full eg what ski you have ect...
I've got an XPL and the stock outlets on them is around the jump on the back so its under water level.
If I was able to move it or didnt have one originally Id definitely make it higher than water level so that back syphoning is n't an issue AT ALL. I'd also probably but the fitting some where on the front so when you flick it on and leave it on for a bit you can see if its pumping any water or not....

only prob with near grab bar is you have one more clamp to take of if you remove cowling. I have mine next to stainless u bolt pull hook.

looks nice there but i leaning more towards the under cowl position
just cas i dont want to cut holes in hull?

i put mine in sort of the same spot on my gpr but i have seen guys with them on the side ( towards the front) so they can see when they are taking on water which i now see the merits of.....
food for thought.
