Arrow New fiberglass blockoff install pics...

DID A QUICK INSTALL OF THE NEW FIBERGLASS BLOCKOFFS COMING SOON TO JERRYS STORE. THIS IS JUST A PROTOTYPE KIT SO THE ACTUAL ONE MAY VARY BUT THE INSTALL WILL BE THE SAME. THESE BLOCKOFFS ARE SUPER EASY TO INSTALL ANY REALLY FINISH OFF THE HULL.

1-THE KIT CONTAINS EVERYTHING NEEDED TO INSTALL EVEN THE ADHESIVE TO ADHERE THE BLOCKOFFS TO THE HULL.

2-REMOVE YOUR OPAS ASEMBLLY ON BOTH SIDES. SCUFF THE OUTER SUFACE WITH THE SUPPLIED SCOTCHBRITE PAD TO PROVIDE GOOD ADHESION. WIPE WITH ACETONE TO DEGREASE.

3-APPLY SUPPLIED ADHESIVE AROUND ALL HOLES ON HULL AND ATTACH THE INNER PLASTIC PLATE WITH 4 BOLTS IN EXSISTING HOLES. I HAD REs ON MINE SO I JUST USED THE BOLTS THAT HELD THEM ON.

4-THERE IN A SMALL HOLE AT THE END OF THE CABLE. PUT ABOUT A 12" PIECE OF PIANO WIRE THROUGH THIS AND PUT IT THROUGH THE HOLES WERE THE INNER BLOCKOFF PLATE GOES. THIS WILL HELP YOU PULL THE CABLE THROUGH WITH THE BLOCKOFF ON.

5-THE ONLY MOD NEEDED ID YOU HAVE TO DRILL A 5/16" HOLE IN YOUR INNER PLATE. THIS IS FOR THE THREADED END OF THE CABLE TO COME THROUGH.

6-THERE IS A ROD THAT STICKS OUT ON THE INSIDE OF THE BLOCKOFF. TAKE THE BLOCKOFF WHICH HAS ADHESIVE IN ALL MATING SURFACES APPLIED AND PUT THE CABLE EYELET ON TO THIS ROD. SUPPORT THE BLOCKOFF WITH ONE HAND AND PULL THE CABLE THROUGH VIA THE PIANO WIRE OUT THE INSIDE.

7-PUSH THE BLOCKOFF UP AND AGAINST THE HULL AND USE PAINTERS TABLE TO HOLD IT IN PLACE WHILE YOU ATTACH THE INSIDE PLATE. USE YOUR FIGER TO SMOOTH OUT EXCESS SEALENT(WHICH IS BLACK BY THE WAY)

8-REMOVE THE WIRE. TAKE YOUR INNER PLATE WITH THE HOLE DRILLED IN IT AND SEALANT APPLIED AND PUT THE THREADED END THROUGH THE CENTER. THEN ATTACH IT TO THE HULL WITH THE TOP AND BOTTOM SCREWS IN THE NORMAL WAY.

9-PLACE THE SUPPLIED MARINE WASHER, THEN LOCK WASHER, THEN NUT ON THE END OF THE ROD AND TIGHTEN. THE MARINE WASHER HAD A RUBBER BACK THUS PROVIDING A WATERTIGHT SEAL.

10-PICS ARE OF THE THRU HULL SIDE AND YOU CAN SEE HOW THE CABLE GOES AROUND THE EXHAUST.

11-DO THE SAME ON THE OTHER SIDE AND YOUR DONE!! 24 HOURS LATER REMOVE THE PAINTERS TAPE AND RIDE!

    Very nice write up Steve.
Thanks for the thread for GH.

I need a pair of these for my RXP bigtime.
With setback pump and speedfreeks ride plate my ski will have signs of porpose with trim all the way up at speed.

I am running the Riva Pro Blocks Offs and I think these bo's will help with that setup.

Are the going to be available for all the models: RXP, RXT, GTX and the X's.
What are we looking price wise. When are they scheduled to be sold and who makes them. Are they the ones that Dan had on hos white ski or a different manufacturer. Thanks for any info. That piano wire rubbing against the exhaust coupler..... I dont know..... potential leak? They do look awesome thou. I'll have to talk to Santa. Forget the comment on the wire.... I re- read the instructions.
