What was the prop you replaced?
I guess you had a 15/22 and replaced it.
Something for sure not right if you only removed wedge and put a new prop.
Steering nozzle wound not make a difference if was same nozzle.

Wow -450rpms.. That's alot of rpms to be missing... A 15/22 is a really tall impeller but that wouldn't kill 450rmps... What sizes impeller was you using before... And when you changed your nozzle did you go to a smaller nozzle... I'm guess the combination of bigger impeller and nozzle is the problem... try going with a bigger nozzle and put the wedge back on... Also why a 15/22??? Alot of people with your mods are only useing a 15/20...

I would check the blades on the old prop VS the new one..See if they are off in any way...Just to justify that your pitch is the same..Also how is the wear ring???pump seal???any cavitation??What did you toque the prop down to??VTS rod??Stock one back on or using aftermarket??Trim adjustment??

i did change from an 83mm nozzel back down to 81mm, i'm not sure if when using the 81mm i had a 15/20 in or not, just a thought i think i did have the 15/20 3 blade in, which broke twice, then i went 15/22 4 blade with standard 83mm nozzel

Ok let me get this straight... Now your running a 15/22 with an 83mm nozzle... And your still missing 450rpms??? IMO I would check the impeller and make sure it is a 15/22... Also would try a bigger nozzle... Maybe a 85mm and check to make sure there's nothing cought in the pump... I.e. trash... I had a little stick stuck I'm my's once and just killed the rpms, because of the cavitation it created..

If you took out a wedge then you pretty much have to shorten the VTS rod. Did you do that ? I have seen a 250 RPM loss with trim all the way down vs all the way up.

250 for the trim and 150 for the prop change is realistic

GTX hulls don't have VTS, unless he added it.

just 1 size change in Nozzles makes over 200 rpm difference
in my RXT, so if you went from 83 mm to 81 mm, that
might account for a lot of it.

Also, as already stated: your new prop may be
pitched differently than the old 1, even though they
are "supposed" to be the same.....
