    rossier pipe setup

    well I decided to just keep my 800 and freshen it up and do some mods to it. I just bought a rossier pipe, msd water injection, solinoid ,and a strainer from a guy. I also plann to pick up some type of head for it. I know a few of you guys run this pipe. Do you think it would be worth it to get a msd encheincer or is it not worth it? Also what is the best aftermarket flame arrester out there?Prok?

    Yes, Enhancer is well worth it. Proks or Fly's.

    what do you think i could get for speed with the pipe, msd,water injection,head ,proks, right tuning and a good prop/nozzle

    i had one and i would say 59-60 with mods. I had a 90 mikuni jet in the mid pipe, and 150 in the stinger. It's a good rec pipe but nothing like the performance of a spec 2

    Ok im going to go on the hunt for a msd now. Is it worth it to get one of those flow valves for the stinger. I forget what you call them.

    I was going to get a spec 2 but thought this would do for now. One other thing the guy i bought the pipe from told me if I mill 0.200" off of the manifold I would pick up anouther 200rpm. Does that sound true. He seemed to really know his stuff.

    Group K did a lot of testing with Rossier's pipe. I think they were getting into the 64/65 range, but that is with a lot of rpm's and yes, race gas.

    Yep...I had to beat their setup by 2 mph. With the same carbs they tested with too...

    The name of that valve just came back to me. So what about running a jetwork valve on the pipes stinger? When i take off the stock water reg on the water box do i just plug that up or do i need to run a jet on it?

    You said it in a previous post...so I thought you remembered it?

    Plug the waterbox top. It depends on what prop you run for the midpipe jet, I run a 100 witha Solas XO. I've run no jet with the Jetworks flow valve in the stinger, and a 185, take your pick.
